We originally posted the Tomaszewski Family Tree as a single webpage that grew to contain over 200 printed pages. At that point we decided to restructure the page because it was getting out of hand and taking much too long to download. Part of the results from that effort follow. Kreigh's father, Ray Tomaszewski, founded an accordian band in 1991, with around 40 members, that is still playing, and his mother, Kay Tomaszewski, continued as Secretary and Concertmistress for the group until her death. You can find out more at:

Ray was a Technical Sergeant in the Corp of Engineers, serving in the South Pacific, and in Korea, during WWII (he performed as a musician on accordian and piano with the troops). Ray was one of the founders of the South Bend/Mishawaka Youth Symphony and was their tympani player. Ray was a School Social Worker, and one of the best accordian players in the world. Married Kathryn Ruth Randall ( 1759 ), Rockford MI, Aug 21, 1948. Died, Aug 6, 1992 at Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Harry probably came to the United States with his father, from Poland via Romania, and thru Canada, to the Detroit, MI, area. He later moved to South Bend, Indiana. We think he had cousins that came over near the same time that were living elsewhere in Michigan; Marquette, Saginaw, and Ludington are probable locations.
Harry's first wife, and Raymond's mother, died when Raymond was a young child. Harry's second wife died when Raymond was in his fourties; I vaguely remember her and the funeral/wake. Harry's third wife, May, outlived him; I remember May from Harry's Funeral, which I attended as a child, because her name rhymed with my name (I also think I went to their wedding with my parents).
Harry worked at Wheelabrator and Studabaker. He had been an armed night watchman at one time. Harry was into personal sales marketing ideas as a second job; I remember that he was a Mirro salesman for many years. He always had a deal going. Harry lived across the alley from his Catholic Church and was faithful. Harry thought that a tablespoon full of honey (from the comb, at breakfast), only one shot of whiskey (after supper), and a serving of pickled herring (or sardines, at lunch) each day was the secret to long life.
Harry was a world class pool and billiards master. He had a photograph hanging on his wall of himself playing with 'Minnesota Fats'. At one time he owned a pool hall.

Several mathematical theorem indicate that each person on earth could demonstrate a direct link to any other randomly chosen person on earth using six to eight links, using a friend of a friend of a friend . . . type of connection. This suggests that four to nine more generations of genealogy are needed to make a similar connection between any two randomly choosen people on earth as relatives (I actually think the range must be one higher, but canšt prove it yet).
